When I make a bet, that person is guaranteed to get paid if I lose or I wouldn't make the bet in the first place......and that is why I turned his request of 10k down.  I wanted to keep it realistic.  But I guess he could have just as well said 100k if he had no intention of paying and just hoping that I Iost and would pay him.

  I'm really going to be shocked if he doesn't hold up his end....he will have totally had me fooled and will show his true character.      But what am I gonna do?...it is what it is and pretty sure the good people of this site will humiliate him and never let him forget about it if he returns.... that's almost good enough for me.   

 My guess if he has no intention of paying me he will come back with a different user name.  He can't stay away from here and he will be pretty easy to figure out with some of the responses.

So anyway, I haven't given up all hope quite yet.....

.the funny thing is, some on here(1) think I would have been the one not to pay and that couldn't be further from the truth. I paid SnowRider immediately when I lost in 2020. And I had this 2k all set aside in anticipation of a loss and at times I did think I may actually lose when the fake polling showed Harris even or ahead for so long.

That is why when I offered a bet before, stipulation is money goes to a third party upfront.  Because if you're the only one who will pay up when it's over, you're just being a sucker because that's a bad bet to make.  If they can't put up the money upfront then they won't afterward.

I'm with Viper, and I do think douche bag Sthevie will ultimately pay.  But this bullshit of delaying it for over a month & somehow justifying the delay due to his Australia trip is a complete pussy move.  Tuesday marks 4 weeks.  There should be some level of interest at this point to make it right, IMO.

I'm pretty sure Australia has internet.

What if you put that grand into Bitcoin or something else for the last month?  He going to pay interest on your money?  Send him your favorite sopranos episode 😁

You made the right decision, not betting with the other site idiot.  No doubt, whatsoever, that you would NOT have been paid when you would have won .. and yes, you would have won that bet.  That dude is nothing more than a troll.

Well, it's live and learn at this point. Really didn't think that was necessary but that is sound advice with a 3rd party and this all would have been avoided.

Instead of him sending you money, can you send him a request/bill?  Does he not use PayPal or Venmo at all?  Get his account info and send him a request for the debt???

I'm not sure if he uses PayPal or Venmo.  I'm thinking no.

   Hell, he can just mail  me a personal check at the very least.... I would think he has checks but who knows

All he really has to do is sign on and say "I will pay you soon" in front of everyone.
