Large threads tend to slow the site down so I locked the old thread and started this new one.

I think Chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy are on the menu for tonight.

Tell me more about how you do those red taters on the grill. Just baked potato style or what?

I'm usually dicing and boiling them, smashing them into a skin-on cake thing, or dicing them in chunks with a bit of oil and seasoning for a grill or broiler.

Simply in tin foil baked… when done split and add a little butter.

That is what I suspected, just wasn't sure. We'll wrap up a bunch of baby reds and do something similar with a herb infused butter dip too, or drizzle, whichever one prefers.

I don't think I've ever tried a brussel sprout in my entire life. ..... That and Escargot may be the only things I have never tried.

3 eggs 1 was a bouble yolk, 4 hashbrowns, 3 sausages.

Gyros & fresh cut fries

Whipped up some mystery stuff that turned out pretty good and cheap.

Started out with a bunch of Ramen noodles with a seasoning no one in the house liked. Boiled the noodles in the remainder of a bottle of beef bone broth and a spoonful of beef tallow. Threw in powdered garlic and a couple shakes of our newest Chimichurri seasoning.

Finished with the remains of 1/2 a steak sliced as thin as I could get it.

Topped with more Chimichurri seasoning.

It was a hit.

Started 2 days ago here. Bought 4 birds, broke them down so I could roast out the carcasses. I like really flavorful gravy...

Probably like many others...

Having leftovers.

Mashed Potatoes, Sweet potato, the dreaded Green bean casserole, creamed onions, Macaroni and Cheese, stuffing and just a little Turkey. The SIL forgot to send me home Gravy.... can't eat much Turkey without it. Just wish the plate was bigger....will be digging into seconds.
