American lung association on 90,000 lives saved and almost a trillion in health care cost

I’m sure some will argue against the American Lung Associations study but her it is anyways.

If gas guzzlers disappeared from U.S. car lots by 2035 and were replaced by zero-emissions vehicles – essentially, electric cars, trucks and SUVs – the nation would see 89,300 fewer premature deaths by 2050, according to a new report from the American Lung Association.

The report, published Wednesday, says that people in the U.S. would have 2.2 million fewer asthma attacks and 10.7 million fewer lost workdays, and the country would net $978 billion in public health benefits with the move to cleaner vehicles and a cleaner power supply.

How many lives every year does medical equipment made out of plastic save like defibulators?   How many lives are saved by life flights or ambulances?  The list could go on and on.  Fossil fuels is and will be man's greatest discovery for its advancement until we are destroyed by a comet or meteor.  Everything we are doing now for green energy is because of our advancement from fossil fuels.   If we eventually get fusion reactors going safely with available materials or some form of perpetual energy it will be because we got here from the use of fossil fuels.  It was earths greatest gift to mankind.

How many miles of roads does he drive on was built without petroleum.....

Without petroleum his precious EV wouldn't exist....period.  In fact if you want to drop yourself off the grid entirely and live self sufficiently you can do it thanks to....you guessed it petroleum.

This wasnt about that stuff.  It was just about vehicle exhaust emissions and all the premature deaths and and healthcare cost that will be avoided from the electrified transportation sector.

Dude they have zero means of making those assumptions and if they do it seems logical to look at the benefits that fuel source provides.

So you don’t think Science and medical experts can give educated predictions/assumptions after studying the matter on the effects of pollution on human from vehicle transportation.  This is American Lung Association and not the Democrats or Republicans trying to sell their bullshit to their voting bases.

Builders are having to cancel housing projects because they can't get enough transformers for the new neighborhoods.

Sure they can give educated predictions or assumptions but it would be foolish to think of their accuracy as anything but that.  On top of that 90,000 in the next 27 years doesn't sound to me worthy of wholesale changes to our way of life that might have other negative impacts on society as well as greatly empower our biggest enemy.   China.

I think again this is typical on most of the debates on the lefts side.   See something like this and push for it without understanding the other consequences that go along with it.  Any savings that a move to EV usage might bring will be impact so many other area's that use petroleum by making it more expensive.  That goes without saying that EV use IMHO will become more expensive than ICE vehicles with the cost to expand the power grid and exponentially increasing output.
