Electric Vehicles

Recommended Posts

Just remember,

Practical electric vehicles appeared during the 1890s. An electric vehicle held the vehicular land speed record until around 1900. In the 20th century, the high cost, low top speed, and short-range of battery electric vehicles, compared to internal combustion engine vehicles, led to a worldwide decline in their use as private motor vehicles.

They have been around just as long as ICE vehicles.  So the next time some dipshit says something about horses and buggies, just let them know, EV's were here along with the ICE vehicles.  If we thought electric was practical, the ICE vehicles would not have been used.

EV’s are so bad ass!

If that is/was a true statement, then they should not need help getting market share.  Yet the do get help in the form of laws against ICE.

Wouldn't it be better if people were just allowed to choose?

Was in Minneapolis today . They were tearing up a street and pulling all the railroad tracks that were about 10 inches under the tar . You know the old electric trolleys.  Why are they rearing up the street . Well to put tracks down for light rail of course lmfao can't make this shit up

My buddies rivian can.  Truck is kick ass.  More than 200 with the sleds.  Way fucking better car than a Tesla as well.  Still not for me as a truck, but for how he uses it, it is great

Cost him $4 in electricity to drag the trailer 60mi to grab my new XCR.  In my Escalade it would have been almost 6 times that in gas.  Jeep a little better, but not much.  Hardly used any of its juice.

You must have something wrong with your caddy. Is it AWD?

Documented at close to 2 miles per kilowatt.

Check your math.

Something right actually.  Whipple, long tubes, intake, lowering kit, wildwoods, and lots more.

Well it's fucking harder on gas than mine is and it's bone stock.

Actually it gets better than it did stock on the highway at 60.  The snowmobile trailer fucks it up real bad though.  Floats around 10 towing which is way worse than when towing the Malibu or Ranger with it
