So a month ago my wife had to go see the Ortho as she had something wrong with her thumb..the local urgent care had taken an X Ray and could see a small fracture but couldn’t/didn’t want to deal with it. Anyhow we go to this office which looks like a Great Wolf Lodge lobby with huge wood beams and stonework ect….they take an xray, Ortho comes in the room for maybe 5 minutes and says she has a Mallet Fracture and they are going to use a small plastic splint to hold it straight. He leaves and his nurse comes in puts this thing on my wifes thumb and see you in a month…all good. Patient dosnt, HI is paying HI dosnt , they make 20% , more they payout more their 20% increases. Imagine what it would cost to paint a home if no one cared what it cost?
