Platinum Contributing Member Popular Post Jimmy Snacks Posted April 20, 2023 Platinum Contributing Member Popular Post Share Posted April 20, 2023 "They tell you not to cry. They tell you he's just a dog, not a human. They tell you it will pass. They tell you that animals do not know that they must die. They tell you that the important thing is not to make them suffer. They tell you that you can get another one. They tell you it will happen. They tell you there are more unbearable pains. But they don't know how many times you've looked your dog in the eye. They don't know how many times it was you and your dog that looked in the dark. They don't know how many times your dog was the only one by your side. They don't know that the only one who hasn't judged you is your dog. They don't know how scared you were the night his moans woke you up. They don't know how many times your dog has slept next to you. They don't know how much you've changed since the dog became a part of your life. They don't know how many times you hugged him when he was sick. They don't know how many times you pretended not to see when his hair was getting whiter and whiter. They don't know how many times you've talked to your dog, the only one who really listens to you. They don't know how good you were to your dog. Little do they know that only your dog knew you were in pain. They don't know what it's like to see your old dog trying to come over and say hello. They don't know that when things go wrong, the only one who isn't gone is your dog. They don't know that your dog trusts you, every moment of his life, even at the last moment. They don't know how much your dog loved you and how little he needed to be happy, because you were enough for him. They don't know that crying for a dog is one of the noblest, most meaningful, truest and purest things you can do. They don't know about the last time you rocked him hard ... being careful not to hurt him. They don't know what you felt when you caressed his face in the last moments of his life" From dad ❤️😥 #photography #photooftheday #photographychallenge #PhotoEditingChallenge #BestPhotographyChallenge #photochallenge #moodchallengemoodchallenge #thửtháchtâmthửtháchtâmthửtháchtâmtrạngNày #nhiếpảnh #photooftheday #photographychallenge #PhotoEditingChallenge #BestPhotographyChallenge #photochallenge #moodchallengemoodchallenge #moodchallengechallenge• #BestPhotographyChallenge #moodchallengemoodchallenge #BestPhotographyChallenge #moodchallengemoodchallenge #bestchallenge #photographychallenge #photochallenge2022 15 3

Crnr2Crnr
sorry man... if only humans were as good as dogs also, I'm glad humans shake hands when meeting rather than smelling each other's assholes. hope your day gets better.
Voodoo
My screen saver runs through my photo file and randomly shows pics. When one pops up of my last dog, I find my self thinking or even saying "you're a good boy, bear". He'd follow my wife wherever she went. Sit at the edge of the garden while she worked in it. He got buried beside the garden, so he could watch over her. Corny... Edited April 20, 2023 by Voodoo

Webber is only 1.5yrs old and I'll bet it's my last go. It took me 6 years after putting our last dog (collie) and cat down. Raising a pup is fucking hard too as I was quickly reminded but it's paying off already.

Enjoy the time left you have. I spent the most part of my dogs life with the military, away allot. We spent some good times together when I was home, Miss that dog, wish I spent more time with him. He was always happy when I got back. Edited April 20, 2023 by Voodoo

Platinum Contributing Member ViperGTS/Z1 Posted April 21, 2023 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted April 21, 2023 Wtf is this salty secretion coming from my eyes after reading that. Dogs will always have my heart. Will never be without at least 1. Trouble is, as an aging boomer, I have to think ahead with any newcomers and make sure I have a loving home waiting if I should pass b4 they do. My last dog lived to almost 19.

My last dog lived to almost 19. My neighbour across the street has a black lab that is just over 15. NOW IMHO he should not have seen his 15th birthday. Owner is a retard and won't make the most important decision we have as dog owners.
