Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted March 14, 2023 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted March 14, 2023 If sentencing is different for injuring/killing a cop (which it shouldn't be) then cops should get harsher sentences when they break the law and the public trust. 3
Matt
That whole agency is corrupt. I knew Chad a little. He was widely regarded as the best waterski tournament boat driver in history before he went down for this. https://apnews.com/article/louisiana-new-orleans-sentencing-us-drug-enforcement-administration-83cdfbdc94ef01a4c4f312f237f22e74

The DEA is perhaps a little better. The border patrol is so bad that they had to stop giving polygraph tests to employees.

It takes like 12 mo to get thrugh the hiring prosses to become a border agent then after you get the job it is 117 days of on site training . Unless you are fresh out of the service then it is less than 30 days but you still need to do the 117 days in house training. But you can test out of weapons training etc if your military background was in that field . You can get your full pension after 20 yrs at age 50. I know 2 brothers that have been on the northern border for about 17 yrs and will be done working in 3 yrs . Not getting rich but then cost of living in North East MN is pretty low .
