You and your friends keep pushing it we can destroy this thread, Stevie. You had to get your nose in it? :mc:

Well it's obvious you're an ultra sensitive Karen and it's never your fault. Pretty sad someone can't even make a reaction to something you’ve ve said and you get all disheveled.

But why the reaction?? Unless you're looking for a reaction?  We can stop now or you can go on?

Who remembers installing Steel Wear Rods on their steel skis?? Then Wear Rods that had a hardened surface on them, someone welded a bead on the wear rod?? Then the game changer....Carbides on the Skags 90* & then 60* carbides??

Gas caps that had a dip stick on the cap? Mark the dip stick so you could guess how many gallons of gas and how much oil to mix........ :lolz:

Sno-Stuff Standard Wear Rods - 510-612-PR

Me too in shop class at school. 😂

I don't think they have shop classes like we had growing up, we use to have wood, metal, print, drafting & building maintenance.

Still working like a champ after 40 years!!!  My parents still have the TV guide holder I made in wood shop.  Outlasted TV guides.  I bet the skateboard pillow I sewed up in home skills is there too.

We even had an auto body/ custom painting class at our school .  It was dropped just before I got up there. My older brother took it. I remember him taking in our ‘72 Polaris atx 335 hood, it was supposed to be a custom flame job but looked more like a bunch of bent up pitch forks. :lol:Wish I had a picture.

Is it a  bad sign when pics from a vintage sled show become vintage themselves.

My son and I on my ‘76 at the Whiteout vintage sled show in Weedsport NY almost 20 years ago now.

I made my own, used channel iron with a plate on the bottom not only widened them but added ski pressure, broke the spindle many times but we had a welder.
