2024 Sleds... what's coming

just opinion but I'm thinking the racers are the only ones that will initially be able to get the 129's because 66% of the retail buying public has bought into the 137 bridge bumping horse shit.

limited edition Procross RXC 800 is an interesting theory and something they should have been selling all along... instead of a 'replica'

I'm not about to be a first year engine or chassis guinea pig.  I'll let @Not greg b do it.  :lmao:

Kale from Dickinsider said the Rxc would be 137 only. Also said the 129 skid was All New and a Blast to ride!!!!

‘23 is going to be the biggest kick in the nuts, LACK of sales event the the OEM’s have experienced since the early 80’s. The economy sucks, high interest rates, lack of snow in many areas in the lower 48, super late delivery dates and then piss poor set up by dealers last year have left many buyers with zero fricking desire to buy a new sled or even look to see what’s coming out. Last week I was having a hell of a time trying to find release dates for the OEM’s. The only one that kept popping up right away was Cat for sometime in March.

Yup, other than TRF everyone else in the industry is expecting a down year, one of the biggest distributors in the country would consider it a massive victory to break even next year, they are planning on loosing money.

AC is March 7 for the public, Feb 22 for dealers..

Club BRP ski doo release is February 20 at 8:30 p.m

not sure about poo.

Around here the doo dealers are buried in inventory, guys are walking away from their late spring orders, giving up their $500.  The economy has crashed, and interest rates sky rocketed since they ordered, and we haven't had ridable snow within an hour of me since late December (when the trails were closed because of a first time ever holiday hunting season)

Local poo dealers seem to have quite a few units on the floor too, including several boost sleds.

Yep last year my q1 was record breaking. This year worst first 2 months in company history. What caused it? All the shit they ordered a year ago hit the ground end of season and no one needed to order anything for this season. On the plus side, pricing stabilized mid year 2022 and availability went from a year plus to a few weeks.  it’s gonna be a rough year until the inventory heard is thinned out.

What a fag probably playing with adjustable skis

He has a sno cross racer. He is finding the best way to chisel ice off his adjusters in the skid. We came to the conclusion a hammer and screw diver works the best as you can buy new parts any day of the week.

From the company who has stupid adjustable skis.  He's probably doing some other anal acts with the gaymobile.  Rotaxing or something.  Bracing.  Pretending he's a kinky gay foreign racer.  Etc

Lynx and Doo to unveil Feb 20th

speaking with the local BRP dealer this past fall, they didn't order or sell one 2023 Lynx for any customers or their floor and basically stated that people here buy an XRS and complain it's too stiff.  was Lynx literally a one year wonder over here?

who else is unveiling their 2024 lineup and when?   predictions?

It makes sense to follow current market share but I don’t understand why Cat and Yamaha are flipped?

1/2 of them are pre order ads from last spring the dealers never took down.

idk as I'm not about to sit and research it all, but even if you are correct that's still 600 or 700 new sleds for P&D getting floor planned.

isn't Mies Outland a big MN Powersports Dealer?

75 in St Cloud/Watkins https://www.miesoutlandstcloud.com/--inventory?category=snowmobile&condition=new&pg=1

Kens shows 75 https://kenssports.com/Showroom/New-Inventory/New/Snowmobiles (7 Cats) (68 Polaris)

The dealers I work with don't have that kind of inventory.  The largest of the two has 5 new Doo's in stock (2 summits and 3 backcountrys - no trail sleds) and 5 Poos in stock (2 of those are Boosts).  They have 3 Doos showing incoming and 5 Poos incoming with 3 of the Poos being the 4 stroke model.

Last season he had to turn away a ton of spring orders on Doos because of limited allocations.  Yes, the interest rates and economy will likely slow things down but I'm guessing he will still take orders for everything he can get from them.

closest multi-line dealer to me (BRP/Pol/Yam) has 15... all trail sleds.

it's sort of hilarious looking at Ken's, Mies, etc and how many off trail sleds they have.   what percentage of riders from MI/WI/MN go out west riding?  :lmao:

@Not greg b could use one of these to pose with in da Yoop  https://www.ecklundmotorsports.com/New-Inventory-2023-Ski-Doo-Snowmobile-Summit-Edge-Rotax-850-E-TEC-154-SS-H-Alt-PowderMax-3-0-Grey-Ecklund-Motorsports-13313829?ref=list

Local Cat dealer has 0, doo has 34 (doo knows they are in trouble offering $2,000 in rebates on current year sleds), poo dealer has 32, Yami 0.

This is the only US offer I am seeing from Doo and it does not include any rebates....  But, how would this be a bad thing anyway?  Rebates were something everyone looked forward to pre-scamdemic and Doo always started offering them in early January.

As a consumer getting back to dealers having excess inventory and factory rebates is a sign of getting back to some sort of normal market conditions.

I'm sick and fucking tired of the situation where you are begging a dealer for a chance at a Spring order at full MSRP and that MSRP is fucking $20K plus.  That shit needs to be done.

I'm not surprised Cat has zero inventory.  You have to build sleds to have them sitting in inventory.

There are alot of Midwest people that go out West.

Not that you need to go out West to purchase, or use, an off trail machine for Midwest residents.
