Why Putin is coming for Russian YouTubers.

Recommended Posts

Biden had the DOJ break down James Okeef's door in the middle of the night to take a diary that had belonged to his daughter.  I mean it is fine to be upset with Russia doing this but it certainly is not a new concept for Russians to be suppressed.  I think it is more shocking in the US to be honest.

And in Russia you'll never find such a story in the Russian media about how Putin has ordered the assassination of his political foes.

No No Putin's political enemies are just clumsy.   Seems like a half dozen have just fell out of tall buildings.

Citizen's of the US can find a news corp at any given time of the day that'll reflect how they want to see the world. In Russia it's only Putin's view of the world that is reflected in the media.

Same in America.

And no a lot of places in Russia can and do get over air tv and sat tv . And with the web skills of a 12 yr old can surf the world

Sure Russia control's information but to act as if the US doesn't to a disturbing extent show's people's blind bias.  "Youtube" is not the news.

Look at how we treat leakers of information that the American Govt is abusing our constitutional rights.

Does the pentagon papers fiasco fit into this comparison as well? Facts are facts. American YouTubers can post whatever they desire. Not so in Russia and China. To make even small comparisons is ridiculous. As for YouTube not being the news….who are you to make that determination. More americans are getting their news from streaming services than network or cable news. Unlike cable news, YouTube is delivering in-depth reporting on the issues. Not 5 minute sound bites from tucker Carlson or little messages on Twitter

YouTube blocking occurs for a variety of reasons including:[3]

  • Preventing criticism of a ruler, government, government officials, religion, or religious leaders;

YouTube has deleted a video of testimony from a House select committee hearing probing the Capitol riots — because the platform said the posting advanced election misinformation.

The clip, which was uploaded Tuesday by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 panel, was removed because it featured footage of then-President Donald Trump telling the Fox Business Network that the election had been stolen, the New York Times reported.

The Google-owned platform insisted that the excerpt, which also included videotaped testimony from former Attorney General William Barr, violated its terms of service.

The clip was no longer visible on the committee’s website as of Friday.

“Our election integrity policy prohibits content advancing false claims that widespread fraud, errors or glitches changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, if it does not provide sufficient context,” YouTube spokeswoman Ivy Choi said.

Fox News printed and fed a false story that undermined the election process. It wasn’t until they got sued did they take the banner down. you look so foolish.

You claim YouTube isn’t the news because it alters the narrative. Yet your Fox News does the exact same thing by creating a false narrative. You’re a hypocrite.
