Platinum Contributing Member Jimmy Snacks Posted January 25, 2023 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 25, 2023 I was reading a thread on Twitter from a retired General and it was pretty enlightening as to what it takes to utilize an Abrams Tank in combat going well beyond the basic things like maintenance and actually knowing how to even drive the damn thing which leads one to believe that this is an overly expensive and provocative gesture or there are people already on the ground that will be in control and I don’t mean Ukrainians. Former infantry and shit can get easily get into 6 figures and a private contractor infrantryman. These tank guys should be able to become millionaires over night. c5 can carry 2 tanks and it will only take a couple million dollars to fly these to Ukraine.
