Clearly, you're excited simply by the reference to Santos.  If that name drop wasn't in there, would you still agree it's a well written and accurate message?

FTR - I agree, with or without the Santos reference.

Actually the Santos reference means nothing.  He’s simply the product of finished local media sources.  His situation along with others would have been investigated locally and he never would have made it.  It’s not just politically related but local issues across the spectrum are negatively affected.

A lot of local newspapers have become liberal biased rags, people don’t like that and they stop buying them.

Old rhetoric.  Most media is being bought up and owned by a handful of large media corps.  Look at Appleton, Green Bay, Oshkosh - same owner and basically same paper.

And 25 of those journalists signed the petition to recall Scott Walker.

The death of American media has been a death by 1000 cuts.  No one piece is to blame as it's failure has many fathers.

Talk about completely missing the point

Podcasts are boring and one sided. It's not news, just more opinionated bullshit.

Independent media like Substack and others is making a difference as well.   Journalist whos only motivation is getting a story right so that their reputation is fortified is a step in the right direction. No political spin just the facts as they are.
