You really think going to college means you're smart? Please explain the college debt problem.  If everyone who goes to school is so smart how cone they can't figure out how to pay the bill.

Some of the dumbest motherfuckers I've ever meet were my college professors.

Education matters.  Period.

But if the schools actually teach something it’s because of those dedicated part time teachers.

Sure it does...but bill gates and Wayne Huizenga are both billionaires without a college degree....lots of plumbers, electricians and general contractors are multi millionaires without a college degree...

No doubt.  All good examples.  Always exceptions.  But on the whole - education matters.  Period.

I will agree to a certain point...no need for many to go to college. The average linesman makes more than the average college graduate.

That’s great.  But on the whole education matters.  Most menial positions aren’t filled with educated people.  Always exceptions but not the rule.  We are taking about the rule.

Oh really?  What are your educational credentials?  You think you're the only mindless indoctrinated liberal that ever went to college?  Get over yourself.

This isn't a binary decision...it isn't don't go to college and you end up in a menial position.

IMO very few positions need secondary education....doctors, nursing, accountant lawyers...but why does a marketing manager need to go to college?  He/she can learn everything on the job. "IT" has proven that a certificate or acquired knowledge is as good as a computer science degree.

Of course it’s not binary but on the whole education matters.  We shouldn’t be frowning on education just like we shouldn’t frown on the trades.  All work should be respected.  There should be dignity in having a job.  But the fact remains educated people make more over their careers than those who aren’t educated.  A simple truth.

That's a specious argument...it discounts the intellectual capacity of our citizens.  There are many that simply can't or couldn't handle a secondary education. And there are many who choose the trades because they can apply their intellect differently.

True.  But back to original point - educated people support D’s over Repugs.  Another simple truth.

Repugs are a cult.  Two sides now - those who support our Republic and truth vs. insurrectionist sympathizers peddling lies and misinformation.  Hence the shift of educated voters supporting D’s.  Education matters more now than ever.  Another simple truth.

Ah yes, let's be proud of those so-called "educated" 30+ year olds living in their parents' basement and really making that $50K+ college debt worth it.  They're most certainly held in high regard.  Proud democrats for sure :lol2:
