Is 81a a good trail? No, 81 A is up north . It parellels the border trail ( 81) but the border trail ( with the granite posts) gets beat within a few hrs of being groomed . 81A , is empty and sweet. Goes from limestone to hamlin. 89 out of the 4 way intersection ( 90,83, 89 ) is another sweet almost empty trail too. https://viewer.joomag.com/aroostook-county-snowmobile-map-2022-2023-acfrogdw2zy75x1agwnes4mc2bopldkxd9jn5ttgjzgjq3npnt/0156134001576681742

Big Crappie
Wife and I rode to dinner in town, 12 miles. Met no one, trail was smooth as butter. Took a longer route back. Trail was perfect. Nice little 50 mid week ride. We're really enjoying the old Frontier touring.

Gold Member 800renegaderider Posted March 9, 2023 Gold Member Share Posted March 9, 2023 Little bit of a late start today. Most trails were pretty good it was almost 50 today so the main corridors were kinda beat up late afternoon but once the sun went down they started to stiffen up and got fast. Full moon made the big fields light up for the evening ride back. fun times 👍.

Gold Member 800renegaderider Posted March 10, 2023 Gold Member Share Posted March 10, 2023 Left Presque isle today with a mission to find my grandfather’s old lake camp outside of Princeton. 371miles later we found it and made it back in one piece. Trails south of Linneus all the way to Princeton were amazing definitely want to explore more down that way again.
