OFFICIAL 2022-2023 SNOWMOBILE REPORTS

Recommended Posts

I just read that a 55 year old man died in a snowmobile accident last night in Oneida County, WI. With all the new snow the trails are very loose. Riders better slow down in the corners or there’s going to be more carnage.

Headed north tomorrow for a Thursday departure on a 5 day saddlebagger into Quebec, down through New Brunswick back into Maine.  Should be a few miles and good times.  Stoked to ride this big bitch through the Chic Chocs.  :bc:

Well our 1200+ mile saddlebag ended 40 miles into the trip, right after we crossed the border when our buddy Angry Ginger smoked a deer.  Bent the sled all up and wrenched his back.  There was just the 3 of us so brother and i decided we’re gonna head to the county today and maybe cross up there then come back down through Armstrong.  Felt it was a little aggressive for just the 2 of us to be that far from camp.  Deer nesting in the back yard this morning.

Snowmobile softball. Our club against another local. Have to ride a sled to run bases, same for fielding the ball.

Everyone is on a sled. All are turned off at their position. Batter hits then jumps on his sled, starts it, and goes to first. Fielders have to be on sleds and start them up once ball is hit, ride to ball, throw to base.

Got buddies sled to the dealer, and he went home to get checked out.  Just sore, and talking about coming back as soon as his sled is buttoned back up.   My brother and I regrouped and took off next morning, headed out past Millinocket, Shin Pond, etc., ended up in Presque Isle for the night.  Got to ride by where dad grew up and where we first learned to ride a sled.  Hadn't been back there since on a sled.  Then ripped up through Ft. Kent, crossed in New Brunswick, then on to Riviere Du Loup for night 2.  Conditions from the county into Quebec were 10 out of 10.  Best trails in the world if you want to cover some distance and see some terrain.  Yesterday ripped it back home.  815 miles in 3 1/2 days.  This big cruiser I bought really is awesome on a saddlebagger.

We used to play that with beer. Get on base no matter who hits a ball ya cant leave that base till you finished the beer.
