what are these hoods you speak of ?  :)

seriously, who does a good job of making pipes these days?  even if just copying a stock system that requires replacement that's NLA and ceramic coating it

Jaws fit is everything you could ask for

If you read the article he said someday we would be doing some clutch testing but we never got around to it was just not in the cards, when there was snow I was out riding. Stock clutch setup with two-stage Springs.

It didn't over rev the stock clutching? What spring rates? Couldn't have been any softer than stock. Sounds like the pipe didn't work very well.

Edit:Nevermind it only made 3.6hp at DT

The fuel controller helped, the pipe alone was not so much and thats what Jim at DT fig at the time also way before he did any testing on the 800 pipes.

RPM a was at @8100 for 164ish hp spring rate I would have to look it up.

Edit:Nevermind >>>> The sled still walked any stock 850 P or D in 800', not by much but still.  <<<< No titanium wrist pins for me!!

Worked for me and that's all that matters. :pc:

Please do and I’m not familiar hp spring rates? Can you elaborate a bit for us guys that aren’t as knowledgeable?

So Olav used the fuel controller to control over rev? Cool.

You guys figure 14hp total gains over stock ?

So you admit it, you don't know and you never read the article. Got it now. :owned:

Well I just figured the sled owner would know that’s all. Sorry for asking.

Me too, I thought that's why we hang out on sled forums:dunno:. But then again you and I have never had a sled mag do a write up on our sleds. It's our bad for not having read the magazine :wall:

jesus... that guy is a dufus he likes to flap his gums over ISR as well.

I like how there's all kinds of background noise in his shop so you can't hear all his trash talking :)

Fully broken while loaded, the boost makes 183 at DTR, FWIW the 998 T made 211 there.

Its going to take some mods for pooto have any chance keeping up with either of the the procross twins in stock form, on the lake....

But it will make that same 183 at elevation.

which doesn't matter because who rides a pig heavy 4S at elevation.

I give BRP and Polaris credit for having factory 2S mountain sleds and Poo a fist bump for a flatlander version.
