US has given more money to Ukraine than all of the European Union.

A fraction of the cost of Afghanistan and not one American soldier dies. Money well spent. All wars should be fought via proxy.

Cunts like you are the reason we cant have nice things!

Trump was spot on about others paying for their own military/euro countries needing to increase NATO support rather than it being mostly the US

Europeans dont have a problem with Russia, the European leaders are doing as they are told. Italy is ready to bounce from NATO over it

Even though over a month old, still accurate (at least US is).

Aid commitments as a percentage of donor GDP up to Aug 2nd.

:lmao:

We've given a bunch since then.

The U.S. has provided the equivalent of 7.6 billion euros ($8.2 billion) to Ukraine since the outbreak of war, making it the country’s biggest supporter, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy’s Ukraine Support Tracker. All European Union member states combined total 2.9 billion euros, plus 1.4 billion euros from EU institutions and 2 billion euros from the European Investment Bank. The U.K., Canada and Japan have pledged a combined 1 billion euros worth of aid.

You do understand that everything we’ve given since then is drawing down on the $40B that was approved by congress in May, right?

So as I mentioned, even though it’s over a month old, it’s still accurate, at least for the US.

The US has spent $80 billion and gained 1.5% of area they previously lost. #winning!

Like previously stated, money laundering scheme.  All to protect any papers Ukraine may have on the Bidens and other politicians in washington,

The most expensive aspect of a war isn’t the equipment. It’s fielding personnel. America ain’t gotta be concerned about that.

So the cheapest route is to not get involved at all

Doesn't change the fact we've committed more than the entire European union....my point from the get go. :bc:

Russia has been and always will be more a threat to its European neighbors than us.

What comes around goes around.   We will put ourselves somewhere we shouldn't be and Russia will be there to provide weapons to kill our soldiers.   Been going on since WW2.

Congress had no business approving that much money to a country that it’s not even our ally. Major questions should be asked about why they were so quick to throw all that money in that direction. I am going to guess at least for the Bidens it was to protect their business interests.

I dont think Russia was ever a threat to Europe, Russia was plenty content selling them gas and oil. The threat comes from drawing them into the fuckery over Ukraine which really has nothing to do with them or us. Even tho it does because we are sticking our noses in it and paying for it...

Its the same scenario with Syria (which hardly gets talked about). US, england, Israel, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia and a host of terrorist groups have been having it out for the last 11 years over gas and oil. We have funded over $20 trillion for foreign occupations and "civil wars" in countries that have a shitload of minerals in the ground or strategic pipeline geography. What does Ukraine have in common with those other places? I'd rather keep the trillions of our money than cause all of the pain and suffering so some oligarchs can get some more oil.

US taxpayers have reportedly paid an average of $8,000 each and over $2 trillion total for the Iraq war alone

  • A new report from the Brown University Costs of War Projectestimates that US taxpayers have paid an average of $8,000 each and over $2 trillion total for the Iraq war alone.
  • The group says the actual costs of war exceed the Pentagon's approved budgets, spilling into other parts of the federal budget.
  • Unlike most wars in history, the war is financed by borrowing money, which leads to huge interest payments — not to mention increased pay to retain soldiers and medical and disability care.
  • Aside from the staggering cost of the Iraq War, the group estimates the US has spent over $6.4 trillion total on all of its "War on Terror" efforts.

The US has not spent $80 billion. We haven’t even spent all the $40 billion slotted back in May. And only a portion of the $40 billion is for weapons if you’re looking for an apples to apples comparison.

And don’t forget, to date, Russia has 75,000 casualties and the US has zero.

Your article is from April. Not saying it’s not true, but would be nice to have accurate up to date numbers.

It’s about Russia, not Ukraine, nor Bidens (although that’s nice of the Republicans in Congress to support the Bidens if it was.) If Russia invaded Finland, we’d be fighting the same proxy war against Russia, in Finland.
