I just wanna know who puts those wraps on for them, I did my first one Thursday and will absolutely never wrap a procross sled again 😂. I got everything dialed in for the first XC race of the year with our new series here, got a pic from the promoter of 4” of fresh snow at the starting line at 10am. Sled, tools, spare parts, gear and most importantly the grill loaded in the trailer at noon and walked out to close the back door of the trailer and received a picture of 8” of water and slush in the same spot 2 hours later. Thinking about heading out in a couple weeks to Minnesota to run the back to back terrain races just to say I did it because winter here is canceled..

pm me here or FB if you're coming through this way

The fastest stock ("stock") class RXC I know about was 109.

Dean could really get those SP500's flying, but it took a long time to get there.

Meanwhile my old stock 04 F6 would do 109 easily on the trail. Guess that's the price you pay for a sled you can ride for 300 miles in a day and not feel like you're dying :lolz:

Don't think you'll feel any better riding an rxc slammed for ice

The old Firecats were fast on the ice, but they'd beat you up a lot more.

They do not ride too bad unless the ice is rough, depending on what you skid setup is.  Ottertail this year was rough ice.  I was out and about on one this weekend, feel fine from being a degen on the local lake.

Yes he did. Is his kid still racing??

She is not.  I haven't seen Dean for a year or two either.

Will do! Looking at the Walker an Naytawaush races out there

Tie your shit down when you drive to Naytawaush.  those are some bouncy ass roads.  Casino is the closest place to stay that you'll find a room at.

No they are not! 200 was re-done last summer. The paved country roads are just fine, unless you drive a tonne F-350. Then all roads are shit! I live here!

113 shook shit off the walls and out of the gooseneck of my trailer I didn't think was possible.

If he is coming from Walker, taking 113 makes more sense (and could be the way his GPS sends him), possibly, but it is not nice.  Bumps, rolls, and curves the whole way.

The road from north of Waubun over is much nicer and brings you right to the south side of the lake access.

Stay off of 113. Road sucks and always will. Go to too and come in on CR 4 through Naytahwaush. Much better route.

If I race it, it'll be 10 to DL then turn by the airport south of Mahnoman.

Maybe VRBO the dump of a cabin we stayed in the first year we raced there with about 5 minutes of warm water for the whole weekend.

When not stealing gravel, he's got a lot of time standing on the road "inspecting it" while holding a stop sign.

BTW not all of the 6000RXC have been delivered, despite your dumbass claim on AI a month or 2 ago.

EDIT: when did Ford release a new model called the "tonne F-350"

Hell, Krommer. If you brought a shovel, they would let you take some home as well. We are nice people here. We give the public some help from time to time. You? How is your wonderful Governer? Betting you are one to try to hit that shit.

Thanks for this, I appreciate understanding why the system works the way it does.

I was right there with you years ago , then once they explained it to me it made alot of sense.

When they are new, yes.  I take some emory cloth or whatnot and give the shaft they sit on a bit of a sanding while they are off too.

I would think the next terrain race where Pro Factory 600 and Pro Open are run at separate times you should see 1-3 of them, but I've already been wrong about that this season.

I had heard the last rounds were when they were coming out but that was 3rd party not from HC or anyone at cat.

once you figure out heating the vinyl before applying them its a breeze. Then you go to Matte finish and its a whole different ball game for some reason.

I figured that out after a while, I also figured out that if you heat it too much and then try to push a bubble out you’ll leave a perfect fingerprint in the vinyl. Oh and also make sure you have the piece on the panel properly before you trim the overhanging edge…. That’s not supposed to be overhanging if it’s on right
