Then there is the money that gets thrown at them after they are elected. There needs to be structural rules in place on what govt can fund and it shouldnt be private companies. The problem with your analysis is that it ignores the scale of what the Democrats have been doing for the last 10 years. Not excusing the Republicans for anything, but its definitely the lessor of the evils in the system we have today. And accusing a candidate of collusion, which is another word for treason, and weaponizing federal agencies to spy on a future and sitting president, push the lie and try to basically throw him in jail.
