Wonder how many Coral reefs they destroyed to do it

BOOM!

  • Offshore wind turbines could provide liveable environments for coral reefs, research shows.
  • In a lab, coral larvae was successfully regrown on underwater steel and concrete.
  • Now one company plans to create coral colonies on four offshore wind turbines along the Taiwanese coast.

Usually things sunk in the ocean become great habitat in the ocean.  Even non leaking offshore oil platforms will become home to some ocean life heavens.  I think they even sink old ships and stuff to make artificial reefs

destruction for wind and solar is OK for grenies.  Yet same time they want dams blown up and natural waerways reinstated SMH

China actually slowed down the advancement of wind turbine construction due to Covid shutdowns. In 2020 they increased wind power 71 GW. They are killing us on wind and solar. They get over 300GW from wind. We’ve got a little over 100.

That’s what I was thinking. Old ship wrecks become home to a lot of sea creatures.

Perfect it will help all the other reefs they have destroyed to have islands built on in the south china sea!!:wtf:

Higher temperatures due to global warming are threatening reefs on an even greater scale.

Yep, all designed to fool sheep like the OP and others who bought into the B.S. story.

China is building more than half of the world's new coal power plants. China was responsible for more than half of the new coal power station capacity being built around the world last year, showing how much the country is propping up one of the worst drivers of climate change.Apr 26, 2022

This, I spent all of May working around Wind Turbines and was shocked at the number that leaked.

Your windmills and solar farms are anything but green dude. Give your head a shake.

Don’t be mad just cause they are able to use biodegradable vegetable ester based lubricants in windmills, okay.

Vegetable oil you say?  Never heard that before in my life but it's your story so I'm curious where you got that beauty from?

HOW MUCH OIL DOES IT TAKE TO LUBRICATE A WIND TURBINE?

Each wind turbine needs 80 gallons of oil as lubricant and we're not talking about vegetable oil, this is a PAO synthetic oil based on crude... 12,000 gallons of it. That oil needs to be replaced once a year. Feb 26, 2021

HOW MUCH OIL DOES A WIND TURBINE USE IN ONE YEAR?

Each turbine is capable of producing 1.5 megawatts for a total of 7.5 megawatts, enough energy to power approximately 2,500 homes. It is estimated that the energy produced by the wind farm saves the energy equivalent of 11,964 barrels of crude oil per year.

Who's in power in the US at the moment?? Maybe all the wind turbine money got spent on the "insurrection" investigation instead of putting a bunch of them on the liberal east and west coast for the lefties to gaze at.
