fuel and the lack there of

Anybody else hearing stories like this?  Guys around here starting to get denied off road and on road fuel from a few suppliers.  Claim they send a tractor-trailer to pick up and are sent back home empty.  One guy works for penn-dot and claims at a meeting last week in Harrisburg, it was talked pretty firmly on rationing coming soon.:saluting:

It happened twice up here about 3 weeks ago to a month. Yellow caution tape around the pumps/gas station and signs reading "No Gas". I figured this was a sign of things to come but all has been good since. I won't be surprised one bit if it happens again, however.

DEF shortage as well

Just wait till thls coming winter when people will have to pick between food or heat for their houses.

DEF is just urea and water.  The urea is made from natural gas the same as it would be for ag fertilizer.

You conveniently forget that royalties on leases are up

BILLINGS, Mont. — The Interior Department on Friday said it's moving forward with the first onshore sales of public oil and natural gas drilling leases under President Joe Biden, but will sharply increase royalty rates for companies as federal officials weigh efforts to fight climate change against pressure to bring down high gasoline prices.

The royalty rate for new leases will increase to 18.75% from 12.5%. That's a 50% jump and marks the first increase to royalties for the federal government since they were imposed in the 1920s.
