They did.  Arabs and US oil just pumped less to offset the release to keep profits up.

now it comes time to refill the globes SPR’s….  Prices are only going to go up from here for the foreseeable future as the world governments buy up the free market oil to fill up the SPR’s that were robbed in an attempt to cheapen the price.

The Biden Administration will purchase 60 million barrels of crude in Q3 in an effort to replace volumes in the U.S. strategic petroleum for the first time in nearly 20 years, CNN reports, after authorizing a record release over six months.

So Trump tried to fill it with cheap oil, but the Democrats in office blocked it, now I am sure there are for it at record high oil prices - fuckers.

In March 2020, Trump did propose purchasing 77 million barrels of oil in order to fill the SPR to its maximum capacity, according to the DOE. But Congressional Democrats blocked the measure, calling it an “estimated $3 billion bailout for big oil.”

Ran some numbers, Tucker groomer turbo diesel, uses 1 gallon of diesel fuel for one mile of grooming, grooming 50 miles x 2 times in one night, a club would be paying right now $4.98 per gallon for diesel fuel, so that would cost this club $498.00 and the club would have to groom 2 times a week that would cost the club $996.00 if they had a great year and the trails were open for 12 weeks that would cost the club $11,952. That would one hell of a hit.

That’s a good point 👍. Imagine a club like Pittsburg NH now 4 groomers 200 miles of trails and diesel over 6 a gallon here. Trails are gonna get bumpy next winter unless people donate some serious money

One groomer 200 miles 2 way grooming 2 times a week $2400 at 12 weeks  $28.800 dollars per year. That's a hit.
