Doug
I know guys have brought this up about the primary spring rubbing or chafing the spider jam nut. Basically the primary spring is binding and distorting as the clutch shifts out. What you need to do is install a delrin washer on one end of the primary spring to let it rotate free. I've been doing this for a number of years and have no chafing issues. The pic below with no chafing is from a clutch with 6300 miles.
Crnr2Crnr
I've debated trying a thin one in a clutch that seems to love breaking springs... but will try a different approach going into storage season. Frankly that clutch is due for a refresh though as it's seen a hard life. 5 hours ago, Doug said: I know guys have brought this up about the primary spring rubbing or chafing the spider jam nut. Because idk, which clutch does Polaris use on the primary these days? Edited March 19, 2022 by Crnr2Crnr
Doug
There's multiple places to buy these (3) for $10.00. Seen one place that is charging $5.00 a piece who claims to be a Venom dealer.
