Make sure you check your coolant hose isn't rubbing, your chaincase has oil in it, and the jackshaft bearing has grease.  Also, the fuel pump whining is no big deal, just ride it.

nice, but does the speedo stop moving above 50mph?

It goes into the Low 100, just like all the other new ac 800s.. That's like 117 on a doo speedo

Owned it since 2011 so ive had it as long as cat has had the procross, never had an issue with the old 30mm Suzuki 800 in it.

Edit: and before this sled i had a 2001 600 MC for about 6 years.Screenshot_20220212-162630_Photos.jpg

19 limited and the 22 RR are mine. Orange 22s my dads, 12 is my uncles. Me on the kitty cat when I was 2. First trail sled was a 92 EXT special, then the ZR 700 in the pic had a rev for a couple years then got out of riding for 4-5 years until I bought my 18 new with about a 3 day relapse with a sno pro 600 in the middle. I’ve owned about 20 kitty cats, 10-15 pumas and jags, couple ZRTs and other ZRs. Unless I get an RXC this year I’m not buying another procross sled, so it’s either something new from cat or an XCR in the future.

No 'Hate" here for Cat, just disappointment. Pantera, EXT are long, long gone.

Here's all we have left

Jag 440, my now back-up yard sled, has issue after issue but 440 still runs like a top

Grandson's ZR, he has put a crap load of hours on it this year

Well that 117 on the Doo would still be pulling your Cat no matter how ambitious the speedos are.:stirthepot:

Same, although I share a strong desire to rib people with colored goggles of any kind.  I didn't start taking pictures of things until about 5 years ago.  Tons of great memories ripping around on my Kitty Cat as a child.  Let me to buying my first real machine which was a 72 Panther.  Made me particularly sad that there was no anniversary PC with the white leopard skin seat.  That would be the best retro ever.

Season is over for me.  As for what I ride next year...that is yet to be seen.  Once I purchase something I'll share.
