Correct , young people know everything. The older generations that lived closer to those times are clueless.

It's too bad that all the WW2 veterans that went to Krakow and Auschwitz are almost all gone. Many couldn't even talk about the atrocities that they witnessed. Yeah, we've bombed and killed but the slow tortuous deaths that millions suffered was beyond words. I knew a private in the Army who went to Krakow and he could barely talk about it without choking up after 50+ years.

You’re right.  The atrocities that happened have been so watered down over the years  with comparisons to men wearing khaki pants and carrying teki torch’s. Most have no concept or maybe willful ignorance to the gravity of what happened.
My great uncle liberated one of the camps. He had a shoe box full of photos my parents inherited from him and later they donated to the local Jewish holocaust memorial center.  Just horrific.  Words cannot describe some of the photos . Hard to believe humans could be that gruesome on such a mass scale.

She was a cheap Oprah knock off at the time.   Funny,  friendly, good natured.  Now,  she has been radicalized by the left.  No matter how successful, famous, or rich you become as a black American, you still have to portray yourself as a victim of severe oppression.

What is odd, if you are the victim of a violent crime, they tell you not to be a victim, but if your distant ancestors were ……you should never get over it. :dunno:
