Any idea how long that boat has been on lake Minnetonka?

If he's at the Spring park landing that boat has really been limited to where it can go on the lake,

Christ I would think the issue with a boat that big, and that old, would be the cost benefit analysis to go through all that work, fabrication and expense to save a boat that isn't worth a whole lot in the first place.

Local marina would not store it any more so it was sold I guess. One transport company wanted 60k to bring it to the river 45 min by car  so the new owner decided to have a trailer modified to get it moved . Took this long to get trailer modified and drivers set up . I guess ? Still not sure where it us going after it gets to the marina it is at now . Lots of questions like if a guy who lives on the lake bought it why did you not just bring it home and bubble it in ? If you are not on the lake do you really want to pay 20k a yr or more to park that big pig and pay even more to have diesel delivered seeing as there are no oil pumps I know of on the lake . Just a extremely impractical boat that you can't even take to every bay on the chain . My guess is a guy got it for free thought he was getting a deal of a life time old owner had him sign a iorn clad bill of sale and went whoosh dodged a bullet on that one glad I never have to deal with that p.o.s . again

Yeah well we all know the two best days of boat ownership....

I love boats but something that size and that old is a friggen nightmare to own.

Good luck to the Guy, he is gonna need it. I thought the video said something like the Guy who owns it now is from Texas? Wonder if he is attempting to ship it down there.  The whole thing seems ridiculous and I use to haul big boats.  If he didnt get it for free then it really makes zero sense.

What I heard...through 8 mouths perhaps...was that it was bought by a guy in Texas.  He got out of the slip expense and got a quote to get it to the river to drive home.  Bid was $80k so he sold it cheap.  New owner didn't have a plan and started to work on said trailer, but too late in the year.

He was going to float it down the Mississippi but apparently shipping it to the river was too expensive.

Yep.

It was parked in Excelsior, right by the Maynards flag on the map (lower right).  I had some drinks on it in 2002?  As for how much longer it had been there I am not sure.  It was registered as a charter as well.  Exceeds the length limit on the lake for non-charters.  Wouldn't be surprised if that had something to do with it.  From the water line up it has always been a clean maintained craft.  It's best angle is from behind or the inside though as it is not a looker.

Broke down once on the piscataqua river  ( stateline between nh and Maine ) Asked the tow usa dude how much for a tow to the marina my truck was at . He said $200. My next thought was how much for a ride back, cause I may just pull the plug and get great pleasure watching this motherfucker sink to the bottom.

I bet they can't legally move it until tomorrow anyway. Wide/oversize load laws probably prohibit moving on weekends. That's how they are in MI anyway, I bet MN is the same.

Yup

I still don't get why they did not just hook 1 of the wreckers on to the truck pulling the boat and back that fucking thing in to the lake all the way to the cab then drive/ tow em both out . Would have been done day 1 . Kind of like attempting to launch at the mound fishing pier/Beach/launch the shore is 20 yards from your fr bumper lol . Or bring the fucker to red Bridge that fucker is steep . Prob to tall for power lines ? But you know they could just park it in a yard on tuxedo and no one would notice just another run down pos to match the others .

I ordered this wicked good gas powered ice auger from a place in Minnesota, about 5-6 years ago. I liked the outfit, and from what I read, Minnesota has good fishing. So, I figured Minnesota was a good outdoor state , Hunting , fishing, etc.

However, after seeing what some of the faggots from Minnesota are like on this site, I'm not so keen on Minnesotans anymore.

Jet was from Mn, and he was a big Muske fisherman, but he's gone. He was a good kid. There's a few more from Mn that seemed to be ok, too.

However, if Minnesota has faggots like DickRyder, DeepFaggot, and DICK-HEAD, then I don't know if I like that state anymore.

Because they wouldn't get paid as much.  It's rape the dumb guy on the lake :P

Bigger they are harder to dump .

I have buds on the river and still can't understand why they keep buying massive pigs to drive accross the river to a beach for a weekend and jump in jet boat for booze runs . But they have all been doing it for decades . I find it past boring to be in some 60ft pig putting along for a whole day hell even for a run to the casino topping out at 25 burning fuel like a fucking jet . Much rather be in a 24 to 26 and get there in a hr with less gas and way more fun
