There was some really screwed up calls by the officials in that MSU Michigan game. The big 10 admitted they got it wrong a few times afterwards.

Lets Go Hawkeyes!!!!

If MSU was playing Iowa I’d say the same thing.

Michigan is clearly the best team in the bigten this year. They shut the offense off after they scored the TD to start the half verse sparty. They should’ve did what OSU did to spartys swiss cheese defense which was throw it all over them. Every power five QB had their best passing game this year against you guessed it MSU’s defense. Oh well Michigan plays Saturday for the big ten title and a spot in the National championship series. Sparty did that once and got Smoked by bama.

The refs jobbed M in that game & the B10 even issued an apology for it.

With that said - M turned the ball over, dropped passes & played hesitant ... & Sparty made some real good plays.

Sparty had a chance last weekend to continue their path to Indy & got made bitches by the buckeyes - so they can keep their yaps shut.

M players learned from the Msu game imo & it showed yesterday. Biggest game of the year in college football & Mich just physically dominated the buckeyes on both sides of the ball. It was fucking glorious :bc:

Michigan almost got beat yesterday by the same thing that beat them in the state game, hurry up offense. Thankfully, Michigan made some minor changes and apparently, osu doesn’t have enough staying power to keep that up for too long. Michigan put a decent amount of pressure on Stroud and as it figures, he crumbled every time. Then Michigan put a beating on the osu defense by running and passing on them. They just didn’t want it as bad as the Michigan kids did and for once, also, in a big game, the Michigan team played four full quarters of hard nosed ball. They learned that lesson yesterday that they ARE a good time but they still need to put in a full games worth of work to prove it. I hope they keep it up for the remainder of the season.

Matt Leinart has seen some pretty incredible college football atmospheres in his life.

When he was the quarterback for USC, the Trojans were rocking. They were the toast of Hollywood, with no NFL teams in town at the time. All the celebrities in L.A. were flocking to the Coliseum. He saw Notre Dame in South Bend and he played in the Rose Bowl a few times — oh, and one of them was the national championship game against Texas, one of the most legendary games in college football history. And now, he’s on Fox ‘Big Noon Kickoff,’ which occasionally sends him around the country to some of the biggest and best venues in the sport.

But on Saturday, The Big House, often derided for being quiet and not at all daunting, took the absolute cake.

Leinart took to Twitter after The Game to praise the environment he just witnessed in Ann Arbor, noting he had never seen a college football atmosphere like what he just experienced, as the Wolverines took down the Buckeyes, 42-27.

On top of it all, the entire world saw it. The game pulled a reported 9.1 overnight rating, the best Fox has ever had for a college football game, and the best rating this year across all networks, meaning it was the most-watched game in 2021 to this point.

There was a bunch of undecided recruits for next year in the crowd. Can you imagine walking outta there after that game and NOT wanting to be part of this team and this school? I can’t….what an atmosphere!!

Iowa is pretty good. Should be an exciting matchup.

Not really.   We are the  worst 10 win team in Big 10 history.   Our defense is solid but our offense is horrendous.

Generally speaking Ferentz does play up to the competition in big games.

Spot on...

Whatever changes Harbaugh made, sure worked. The team chemistry is incredible. That place was absolutely rocking on Sat. Best win in along time. Program changing win imo ...

You guys always have a stout D. Sounds like the O line has been porous this year from what I've read.

Should be a good game Sat night.

Oline is young and receivers can't get separation.   Michigan will stack the box and make us pass.  If they get consistent pressure with 3 it will be a long night for the Hawks.   Honestly it really could be a blowout.  Over on the 43.5 is looking like easy money.

Mich has some pretty good pass rushers - so that could be interesting.

Iowa D is usually good at creating turnovers. That will be a key stat in game imo.
