If you are chubby at all, Storm would be better. Valdez has the Pro shell. 3 layer. Thicker outer shell and therefore probably a little tougher against trees. My best advice is to just try it on before buying. My bud is smaller in stature and very little body fat. He has had about 3 or 4 Valdez jackets and loves them.
