It's still considered a crime scene, they were Ass-U-Me-ing the bones were Brians they could have just as easily been someone else remains/bones so you don't touch, move or remove anything you let the crime lab handle things. The spin doctors are already saying Brains parents could have planted or tampered with the bookbag or what ever they are calling it now.

no it wasn't. the park was open to the public.

They put crime scene tape up around the area where the remains were found not the whole park....... :dunno:

You do understand that the family found the bones of their son. There was no crime scene until the bones were found. The family was also asked to come out by the police because the water had subsided and they wanted a better idea as to where their son hung out.

Lol so have you ever seen a active investigation  crime scene? Obviously not . Even if the park was open and I have zero doubt it was . The spot surrounding the body is most deff taped off . And not just a little ring . My guess 2 football fields or more with a guard there until it is 100% wrapped up . Especaly on public land

Yes and once the remains were found it became a crime scene and different reports say that law enforcement was right with them and other reports say different, so it's pick what you want from the "Info" released to the public, but again the reports said the family handled the backpack and handed it to law enforcement..... Hey at least they found him and her and now who only knows where things will go from here. It's sad either way two family's lost a member of their family over what.............

Oh cool!!

She’s a 16 year veteran of the fbi. Her duties rotate, but one area she works is cold cases. It’s been interesting to get her take on this even though she has nothing to do with the case. She’s a bit annoyed that the bureau is spending so much and manpower on this case when there’s more pressing issues.
