Yup, back to school and home.....plus Covid and hand outs have nothing to do with it.

But heh, the unemplyment rate went down right Clown AFJ ?

Nope. Highest on record. Kids going back to school have no bearing. Dumb people believe that. People in the service industry are tired of assholes. Plus there’s more lucrative employment

Can ya blame em? The average American is a dickhead.

I’ve stopped being shocked at the rudeness that I see clerks and waitresses having to deal with. There’s some real dick fucks out there. Wisconsin had a reputation for having a friendly work environment compared some other states. But even that has changed.

Same.  Maybe in the urban centers, wouldn't know.  People seem to be going out of their way to be nice for the most part.

Let's not forget that the extra Unemployment Insurance stopped in september, so these workers had to find another job.

The op views are really just off the mark as usual.

So people were quitting their jobs because other people's unemployment ended?

LOL.  Do you understand unemployment?   If your unemployment is ENDING, then you need to find another job to replace the income.  Christ why is this so hard for some?

Everyone loses the $300 weekly supplement

Under the CARES Act, everyone receiving jobless benefits was entitled to a weekly supplement, which started at $600 per week and was later reduced to $300 per week.

By Sept. 6, The Century Foundation estimates, 3 million people will remain eligible for unemployment insurance and will no longer have this weekly booster.

Without the supplement, state benefits replace about 38% of a worker’s previous wages on average, according to the Labor Department.
