State Department Investigating if Trump Officials Stole G7 Gift Bags Meant for Foreign Leaders

Fuckin thieves….

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2021/10/trump-gift-bags-g7-missing-gifts-saudi-fake-fur.html

Protocol was never high up on the priority list during Donald Trump’s presidency. Little wonder then that gift exchanges with foreign leaders were, quite simply, a mess. A process that is usually highly regulated and has little in the way of inconsistencies or questions devolved into a scattershot effort that often didn’t follow established procedures and had little-to-no oversight, according to the New York Times. We had already received hints that this was the case a few months ago when it was revealed the State Department was trying to locate a bottle of whisky valued at $5,800 that the Japanese government gave former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Politico later reported the State Department’s inspector general was investigating some 20 types of missing gifts. But it turns out there are a lot more questions surrounding gifts during the Trump administration, according to the extensive Times report.

One of the questions that are being investigated is whether Trump appointees swiped gift bags worth thousands of dollars that were meant for foreign leaders at the Group of 7 summit that had been planned for Camp David in 2020. The summit was ultimately canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic and the bags that contained dozens of items went into storage. But then at the end of the Trump administration, career officers saw Trump political appointees leave with the gift bags. That’s when they started looking at things more closely and realized dozens of gifts given to Trump officials during the administration were missing. To illustrate how highly unusual this is, the Times notes that there were no unaccounted gifts during either the George W. Bush nor Barack Obama administrations.

Gift bags...

While Americans suffer through economic hardships generated by the coronavirus pandemic, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) paid her daughter over $74,000 in campaign funds so far this year.

According to campaign finance records reviewed by Fox News, the House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman “paid her daughter, Karen Waters, a cumulative $74,000 in donor cash through September.”

“The last quarter alone saw over $20,000 go to the younger Waters, which is nearly a third of the median American household income in 2020, according to the Census Bureau,” noted Fox News.

According to the New York Post, between October 2020 and June 2021, financial records indicate that Maxine Waters paid her daughter up to $81,000 in 12 installments for “slate mailer management” fees and “Get Out The Vote” (GOTV) services.

During the last election cycle, between March 2019 and September 2020, Maxine Waters paid her daughter up to $250,000 through 26 installments for the same efforts.

I said Trump has 10 civil suits running against him as we speak. He's been SUED over 4000 times in his career.

I would be bothered if I had ONE suit against me.

Like he really gives a shit about these ten.  My bad, my bad.  :dunno:

If Trump really loved America, why would he fight the release of his taxes so vehemently??

A good American would release those taxes in a heartbeat.

I know some of you guys like his agenda, ( religion, pro-choice, anti-immigrant, etc. ) but it comes at a un-acceptable price with Trump. He's a dangerously bad person. So isn't Biden. They both need to get out of our faces.

Why should he ? He had never before been in public office . Only reason any of them wanted them was ammo for the idiots who don't understand legal deductions . Again the IRS has special teams of accountants who are continually auditing high income earners.  This is fact 💯% .

Now are you attempting to tell us if he showed congress or even the American people the likes of Chuck Schumer or nanny or the crew over at CNN would have discover somthing a whole fucking team of auditing accountants were to stupid to find ? ? Really this is what you think ? Lmfao such a perfect receptacle for what they feed you
