Mainecat
Ah ha…. However, the company plans to increase production in its California plant regardless of the headquarters move. “To be clear we will be continuing to expand our activities in California,” Musk said. “Our intention is to increase output from Fremont and Giga Nevada by 50%. If you go to our Fremont factory it’s jammed.”

Elon got into that plant for light money and of course some concessions from the state and local gov. I can see Tesla closing it as new production sites come online. irv
It's amazing how the left/Liberals, despite what is right in front to their noses, will defend, at all costs, what their party is not only doing to certain states but also what they are doing to their country. Never in my life did I think some could become so brainwashed they'd actually do this.
old indy
Nokia, Tesla, Lego, just to name a couple of big players running full tilt away from California. i wonder what the number of employees lost is just with those three? there are SEVeral more LARGE corporations currently planning their exodus from the peoples republic of cali as well. the only thing that could stop that is if it finally shakes and slides into the pacific. Gold Member BOHICA Posted October 8, 2021 Author Gold Member Share Posted October 8, 2021 Elon Musk’s company won’t have to contribute to California’s policy of paying people weekly to not commit crimes. He can invest that money he was on the hook for in California and invest it in Texas and it’s policies.
