SMH at guys buying old uncomfortable pieces of shit,  esp those guys who have the superiority of the etec.  I don't even think at this point i'd put my kid on a sit down chassis sled.

So I'm guessing you think it's stupid for me to buy a 94 ZR 700?

I have been thinking i might try JIms method this year,  start with the first couple weekends on my xrs then sell it for a SBA for the heart of the season then maybe end the season with a 154 freeride once the diamond poundings lost it's luster.

buying a 90's early 00's sit down sleds about as gay as buying an 80's american car.

i wonder if people said the same thing about 50s and 60s sleds and 40s cars 30 years ago

40's, 50's 60's and early 70's cars are cool with great lines even when they didn't make great power.  There is nothing redeeming about old sleds unless you might want to hang  a txl or something like that on the wall in a barn.  Good memories make people blind to the fact of just how much better shit is today and the cool sleds like a txl are uncomfortable unless your a garden gnome at least with a car you can just cruise in style and enjoy.

As long as the trail isn't 5 foot woops, the old iron can keep up with the new stuff for 10% the cost. And in some cases pass it which must be infuriating to Joe Blow who owns 15k still

Just hit the Jacuzzi before and after the ride cause it's going to hurt

i said when i bought my rev i'd buy another sled trailside before i rode my zx again and felt the same when i went from the rev to an XP.  I did buy my son a rev a few years ago,  couldn't bear to put him onto something so much more inferior to that.  i think the only old sled i could be comfortable on would be a barney or an xp.

I find out of the late 90's early 00's the cats are the most rider friendly....and definitely had the best stock suspensions.
