I sent a set of shocks to Mike Carver for a revalve/upgrade and am making a list of shit I want/need on the shelf now for spares or otherwise, before winter rolls in and there's another parts shortage.  

Anyone actually get their new 2022 sled(s) yet?

I'd suggest trying the Isovibe as imo it does what's advertised, and no... you can't have that shorter riser back!!!

Got this thing out of the weeds today and washed all the skeeze off it. 3500 miles this season. Probably needs a shock rebuild and clutch rebuild and it will be good to go for next season

I’ll need to know how many latte’s were added to get the correct washing mixture…

3500 is due for shocks. Could get away with just weight bushings and a spring on the primary.

At least 7. I have brand new set of belly busters and a low mile spring I can toss in it. A friend of mine has everything to do the shocks so it should be cheap maintenance for next season.

I’d pop the seals on the driveshaft and jackshaft bearings on the PTO side and fill them. Besides that and a chain case oil change, not really much else to do besides count latte’s… 😂

How many miles are you getting out of a set of stock ones. Mine seem ok with the shock still mounted. Might be different when I actually remove the shock

About what you have now maybe 3-4000. Then the ears begin to crack off.

But, I replaced the ones on my 2026 this spring at 750 miles, and though the stock ones seemed fine, the ones I got from Rick are simply put - TIGHT. Zero play or movement in anything, unlike the stock set. With the ones Rick sells, I’ve had to adjust ONE, and replace one pivot shaft that wore, bushing was fine. This is at about 15k on the set on my ‘21, they are still tight as the day I put them on.

42 passes, 6 at a time as the disc heats up pretty quick, gets you from left to right… I suspect sharpening every 4-500 miles, or even 1000 might keep them sharper and less work than going 10k before putting the disc on them.

I just started the 720 in storage to run some fuel and oil through it and run to operating temp.

Garage is awfully smoky now... 😂
