Anyone else getting parts, looking at their new sled or prepping their machines yet?

  • Gold Donating Member

I sent a set of shocks to Mike Carver for a revalve/upgrade and am making a list of shit I want/need on the shelf now for spares or otherwise, before winter rolls in and there's another parts shortage.

Anyone actually get their new 2022 sled(s) yet?

I dig the green jack stands 💚

I have the green jack to match. But I bought the 4 ton and that thing is heavy dragging around. Harbor china had the 4 ton on a deal a while back so I grabbed one

His pops paid for them. Loved the belt drive was the fault of the bearing, instead of his constsnt riding in mud. Fucking retard!

Yep riding in mud 3 feet deep caused the jack shaft bearing to fail and the drive shaft to spin in the bearing. Which non of that is possible. It’s a high quality product that can’t make it more than 60 days with every thing falling apart

Wow it might have been able to lift my old Z1 turbo!

dropped the boat off at storage, brought the sleds home... they both started so we're winning so far.

found four idler wheels total on two sleds going buh-byeoh and am about to start throwing $ to Thomas Sno Sports instead of Country Cat based on this... sounds like the rubber on the cheap Amazon ones don't like to stay attached to the wheels.

I'm not having the Devil's Fire Water right now, or I'd make it a 12 pack minimum.

I'm thinking it'll be easier with the skid out to do that project.

At least the Cheetah fired right on up and idled great. Waiting for that one to spite out the drivers.

needed a set for the fohfohty but Dennis Kirk'd a pair. still have a pair of Cat slides in the attic for the five hundo and have vespels on the mod.

that said, quite a significant price increase vs $15-20 a couple years ago.

That is $41 for the pair. They are not a whole lot cheaper on DK for the Garland ones.

Completely read that wrong! $41 a slide is nuts.

I normally pick up cheap slides at Princeton or whatever I go to for swaps. I certainly didn't see any this year at Princeton or Haydays.

I don’t know what Cat’s ERP system is? Prices are going up on all kinds of things in my different hobbies. I check my past orders on Amazon before ordering anything and by and large everything has increased since this past spring.

This Side Rail measures at about 53.5" long and will need to be cut to length of snowmobile when being installed.

Jim Carrey Alrighty Then GIF by Ace Ventura

sounds like someone here hasn't changed a pair of slides on his own in over twenty years, probably something so complicated it has to be taken to the world's greatest dealership to be done.
