Capitalism vs Socialism

Built a business...it was hard work.  The harder you work the luckier you get.

I had a family. Trips to take. Cook outs. Fun to have. I didn’t have time nor did I want to work an 80 hour week. Also had two businesses. Sold my share on both.

Did the workers risk any capital? Do they give wages back when losses are realized? Is the worker not free to seek higher compensation in exchange for their labor? This isn't slavery....

Capitalism assumes  free markets...we have oligarchy. Look at the partnership between the largest corporations and the woke parade.

Lmao, no it doesn't. There's no such thing as a free market.

Oligarchy is the natural progression of capitalism. It is the end stage.

Fascism is the next stop on this train.

That’s nice. I’m retired and enjoying it.

10's of Millions if people are retired, congrats...Now stop trying to pull the ladder up behind you and voting for more taxation, regulation and Gov't debt than you had to deal with.

Couldn’t agree more, life is way too short to spend that much time at work, fuck that.

What do you think you were put on this earth to do? Work adds purpose,  that is if you choose Work that is rewarding.  Remember it is for you to choose. Let's assume that noggin gets his jollies from teaching or instruction...I could name a dozen jobs that aren't actual teaching/education jobs,  but in industry. Find your intersection of hard skills and soft skills and work will be rewarding.  If you don't work you will lack self worth and never become your greatest you.

BTW I no longer work 80 hour weeks (well maybe sometimes) but I could retire tomorrow. Why don't I? Humans need purpose or they wither.

Work is a four letter word. I sure as hell don’t think I was put here to work. I do everything possible to not have to work and that’s got me to 32hrswk. People that work crazy hours a wk 70-80-100hrs I’ll never get that. To each their own I guess.

To his defense, some guys really enjoy work. It’s pleasurable for them. But yeah, fuck that!!

Those type of people have a screw loose.

How cute .... cunts like @motonogginconstantly bitching about the US and what it's been based upon for almost 250 years, yet still here.  Seriously, go find your utopia elsewhere and stop bleeding from your vag.

He's not entirely wrong, America is not the great country it used to be and there's plenty of proof.

I got a 50% raise this year.  Changed careers in my late 50s.  And pretty much work part time.  Find your purpose out there, it might take a while but almost everyone has a purpose and means to succeed
