If Trump was President and had the disaster of withdrawal going on in Afghanistan

Without question they would try and impeach him again and would likely have succeeded as there would have been a ton of GOP voting him out.

Yep - was having that exact conversation last night.  There is no denying it would have been deemed a colossal failure on the administration's part, but now that Biden is POTUS it'll get a whole lot of "nothing to see" and blaming Trump's past presidency.

You can sit in your armchair and politicize this all you want over your hot cup of coffee. I for one don’t want to see a single more US soldier come back in a body bag, dismembered or PTSDed. Get out now.

I don't think anyone here including me supports being there any longer however that doesn't excuse the colossal fuck up that's occurring right now with getting out.  That is on this admin and our "woke" military leadership.

You're new here so you don't know where most of us stand.

Where do you stand on this right now with Biden.  To sit here and act like this shows your true colors.

Don't be so quick to blame the retard or the orange devil.

No one saw the utter collapse of the Afghan army happening so quickly.

300,000 are now just as endangered as they were whilst holding a weapon.

They and their families will die on their knees, instead of offering up a defense.

Well show after show of US soldiers saying how they don't trust them not shooting them in the back might have been a slight indication of their loyalties.  Yes I'm sure there were many loyal to the cause the US was doing and for them this is horrible.

Honestly I could give a rats ass who is in office, who brokered what deal, and who made the decision to pull out like we did.  As noted above, we should have been out of there YEARS ago.  The real unfortunate deal with this, is the brave men and women who went over there and lost their lives under orders.

It could have been done better but to whine about this when Trump loaded the deal with the Taliban and you Trump supporters never issued a peep about the Kurds being left hi and dry.

20:years was enough.

Yes, we should have strived to leave but not like this.  They had to know this was going to happen.  Suprised.,....  really?

All those deaths for nothing.  Russia, China and everyone else will divide it up for themselves with the Taliban.

Down the road we will be back and it will start all over.....

Taliban will sell to the highest bidder. Russia is broke…China, maybe, but they will want strong say so. Look at post Vietnam relationship between Vietnam and China, not good. The US will buy the Taliban very discreetly and without our military presence.
