He had one they called "The Captain". Another one of his favorites.

Couple years ago he sat outside with us for a while at the motel in Michigan.  Talked mostly of his ASA days when he ran in Wisconsin and Dick Trickle.  Dick taught Rusty alot about setup.

Dick was very under-rated.

That's what Rusty said.  He got his break with good teams to late.

I’m in a Dick Trickle group on FB…he is revered all over but especially in Wisconsin.

I thought I read something about him being put to the rear in a race this weekend for rough driving.

That's what I read as well.

I ended up watching the highlights of the race last night. From the looks of things there was alot of beating and banging to gain position. Jr. hooked a guy down the backstretch for his first penalty, and actually it looked like he got another with 10 to go. Great short track racing. No outer wall except on the front stretch.

The 2023 season will be Kevin Harvick’s 23rd and final year as a NASCAR Cup Series driver. The 47-year-old racer will retire after the season finale Nov. 5 at Phoenix Raceway.

Larson is set to do the double in 2024.

Kyle Larson will see his dream of running the Indianapolis 500 come true.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion will join McLaren Racing as part of Arrow McLaren’s lineup for the 2024 edition of the Indy 500. The Chevrolet entry will be co-owned by Rick Hendrick and carry title sponsorship from HendrickCars.com.
