NASCAR is so far away from any other form of racing, even their stepping stone series, that no one "recognizes" it anymore.  The closest thing I can think of is rally racing with their stages.  Might as well make it really interesting and make it one giant oval rally-cross with stages built it.

Bring on the mud and gravel!

That would only work if the fencing was torn down & spectators could stand on the edge of the track.

“Danica is a perfect match for us with all of her torn up equipment. She will be a great addition to our team of Swift truck drivers.” Said company rep Adam Andrews.

At least the sponsor has a sense of humour.

Jr put the 88 car on the pole for tomorrow nights Coke Zero 400.

The planets are definitely aligning for a Jr win. :bc:

I was just looking to see who won last night's Xfinity race and saw where it had been postponed until today at noon. Coverage here in the states is on CNBC.

just trying to use some of the guys i've only picked once this year. Jr will be the 3rd time, but restrictor plate racing is his best chance to win :ashamed:

I turned on the TV a few minutes ago to see if they were back to racing. They had the track dry and were getting ready to race, but the rain returned. I wonder how this will effect tonight's race if it keeps getting pushed back?

Drivers are getting back in their cars again. The ones pulling double duty aren't going to get much of a chance to rest between races.

They have been talking about staying hydrated as being a major concern.

Yeah I was watching some of the coverage last night and it looked like it was pretty steamy down there.
