Really? Biden has people who are qualified to do their jobs therefore he does not need to know every spec.

The gov got the space program launched an well as funded many groundbreaking drugs that have saved lives.
The US gov. leads.

All true but now he is in a sense actively marketing for a private company. Government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers.

Most of the products you sell and live on are subsidized by the fed or local taxpayer from research grants to reduced taxes.

while i would agree thats how a president CEO should behave his picks were based more on the appropriate race/sex/sexual orientation/mental illness than actually being qualified.  His VP pick being the biggest example of that.

Horse hockey. Yes the fed puts up research money but most of the invitation that has driven our economy for a century comes from private funding. You should read the story of the Wright brothers vs Langley to better understand why government bureaucrats should not be picking winners and losers.

Tesla's reservation's aren't even real.

They are $100 Refundable reservation's.  Ford's reservations are real sales.

It was just a smart way to raise funds for tesla R&D.
One thing that company is good at is R&D on the backs of its users.
