Given their percentage of population I would hope so but common sense will tell you that cops target blacks,  not for killing but they are definitely going to engage with black's, Hispanics and young whites at a greater rate than their respective part of the population because they think they will find additional charges beyond the petty offense they are typically engaging with them over.

Not saying there isn't some truth to that the majority of the reason we have so much black/LE interaction is that police are suppose to patrol high crime area's more often.   The communities want them there.   If you put cops in high crime area's there is going to be lots of interaction between cops and suspects.   Its common sense.   Its not the cops fault often times crime is extremely high in black neighborhoods.

Was the officers 100% right.....no but he didn't get out when asked.   If he did it likely would have went much differently.

Actions have consequences.  Sometimes the consequences are harsh but, without the initial action, they don't happen.  The action-Consequence matrix should be taped to some of the dashes of these idiots.  They don't all have "mental issues".

You're just wrong. Here are two videos that detail how the idea that police target minorities is wrong. If what you say is true you should be able to provide statistics to support your claim. Plus by a percentage of population minorities commit the vast majority of crimes.

I guess you’ll never understand the fear he experienced. He’ll get a well deserved cool $M and the cop was fired. Times they are a changing.

Racists are just obsessed with skin color.

Statistics are hard for some in here.  Especially the engagement part.

Again, I'm not defending all the cops actions but if he simply exited the vehicle when asked this would have been much different.

Agree or not the SC has ruled that LE has the right to ask you to get out of the vehicle during a traffic stop.
