winter shows are my favorite. i'll take cold set up over 100 degrees in a parking lot any day. plus, the effects are better IMO

Depends on you definition of cold, 20 above no problem, 20 below nope.
and you can’t back out of a show because of cold.

No idea when shows will happen here in Mass, but we got our first show in well over a year this weekend in NH.

Small show for Keene State college graduation, and a training show for several of my new crew, but it sure felt good to make things go bang.

Same here, started with a 72 and a pair of 18's using slats for everything.  All Private shows for me but I wish I would have started with a pair of 72's.  Do you use any scripting software?

I don’t want 72s because two many wires to one spot, I have 20 of the 18s and one 36, the 18 are easy to set for small effects at different spots or shells apart from the main site, helps at weddings too when you have multiple sites for one show.

I use the scripting software from cobra, you can’t ask for better. Customer service.

my crews want 36s for 4th of July week, they’ll probably get them too.

Yeah, no way on 72's for onboard cues.  All slats here.  I prewire everything so it works well for my typical set ups.  If you every have a show within striking distance of northern WI and need an extra body let me know!  Couldn't agree more on Cobras customer service.  World Class.

we stay away from the 72s for the simple reason that if one module fails, which can happen, that's 72 cues you lost in the middle of a show. we use all 36's and 18s

smallest shows are 5k, biggest for us are 100k.

I’ll do shows down to 3000 depending on the time of year and who it’s for,

Excellent point, I have 2 R2 units for each show for the same reason.

It was so nice to have a good crowd of people come out this weekend for the fireworks.

To see that many people acting normal was quite a change, and a welcome one.

This show was 1130 shells, with 780 in the finale. 5 inch max unfortunately, but still great.
