oldslowsledder
Out on the lake yesterday, not much snow to be found, you'd be in trouble without studs, just saying

Do you run a snow X track with studs? oops you don’t. You’re probably one of those guys who runs a 1.25 with studs and thinks he has traction

J. Jackson
Wouldn't ride a sled without studs. The only downside is unsprung weight.

And although i would consider a 1.5, the loss of top speed would definitely bother me.

Fireball 440
I was hoping for more valuable lessons but this one isnt "gaining any traction".

What exactly would be "proper"? Lets use my sled for example. Turbo 1100, 325 horse, 137x1.25 ripsaw 2 with 5 studs per row, high speed trail riding. What unstudded track would have more traction?
