I've sourced the pars I can rebuild my engine for $1400 in parts and my labor and right now this is looking like a good deal.

Take that heap to the scrap yard and buy your wife a 4 stroke..........you're welcome.

Off to a great start.

No reply from Al's Snowmobile.

No reply from Ske's Snowmobile.

No reply from Duncan Brothers.

Trying to throw 2 grand away here.....  nobody wants it.

Wife is trying to tighten up the checkbook too.  I was hoping to get this done IN/OUT.

The longer it sits the more likely the next round of covid checks will have to cover it.

funny i had a similar issue with the new tailgate for my truck.   looked for shipped quotes from 4 places.  Ended up calling my local breaker yard and they are getting it from one of the others for the same price and no shipping cost

Still no response from any of the 3 inquiries.

Wife want's to wait till after the 13th (getting taxes done), I think that's a horrible idea.

The longer it sits the more likely I'll be tearing it down myself, in June.

You calling these places or email?

That was just what I was about to post. My neighbor called Al's earlier this week and was heading over today to get it.

Yup, I’d think if your calling you’ll get your answer immediately. Email you’ll get your answer when the sales guys are done dealing with walk-ins and callers.

just email inquiries about warranty, shipping, and availability.

I agree a phone call is the best course, but I was putting out feelers and I probably would have bit on any of the three who responded.

Now, however, the wife has had a change of heart and has given up hope on getting back on the trail this season so....  hopefully sooner rather than later.

Ya that’s kinda what I thought. unfortunately sales people take calls as serious and emails as strokers from my experience. I can’t blame them I do the same when I sell something online if you aren’t calling you can’t be that serious about buying whatever it is I’m selling. It’s always the wives that ruin the fun isn’t it lol

Anyone ever order anything big from there?

I've ordered some small stuff 12 or so years ago.

I'm looking at this.  New outer crank bearings, cylinders, and pistons.

we use them pretty frequently for used parts that just arent available new anymore. they're really good to work with and i've never had a problem.

I just bought a new helmet from them about 3 weeks ago on an eBay listing.  I had it within 4 days.  We had some back and forth after and they generally responded to eBay messages within 24hours.
