The fucking dingbats here in NH are crashing sleds at an amazing rate. I think over a dozen accidents this past weekend. Mostly rental newbies but several idiots going full tilt across lakes and into the shore line. Look at this mess from last night. There is a rental outfit in Gorham putting newbies on new Polaris 650s and they are stuffing them into trees daily.

Yah....89hp engines are so enjoyable

If all you ride is rivers and rail beds...not so much. BUT...if that's all you ride that's not enjoyable either.

it's why have multiple sleds would be perfect.  Some of the old crew has different sleds for different purposes and a 900 was always in the mix.  Big perm still rides his 12k miles later with the family over his backcountry.

I wouldn’t be happy riding a 500cc class sled on a goat path let alone anywhere else. It’s fucking boring

If you have common sense, a 200 HP sled can be driven slowly, or quickly. You have to have the brainpower to know the right time, and place. If you are stupid, any motorized vehicle is too much. It,s all about thumb control. Some have it, others never will. Good to see Darwin doing his job, even during these troubled times. I,m sure, someone, somewhere will find a way to blame all these accidents on covid.

There are a lot of noobs to the sport this year. I have no idea why but for some reason a shit load of people thought they need to try snowmobiling this year. And these boneheads are buying long track sleds to ride on trails or 800's 850's and I have a feeling there is going to be alot of carnage. We have already had some close calls with people riding on the wrong side of the trails this season.

This past weekend I got the moron who turns around too look at the rest of his group while he rides right towards me and throws me into the pucker brush.

Looked like Wolverton's buddies but with less skill...
