shitty, we've been in lockdown for over to months now.  We are allowed to ride, but all the warm up shacks are boarded shut.  don't want people gathering in the shacks.  Major fine if you get caught.

enjoy! it ain't fun at all, but our numbers have certainly come down.  you can thank all the selfish bastards in TO and surrounding area.

I feel your pain, I thought that this was going to be the situation, the northern areas don’t want GTA riders coming up, I don’t blame them at all.

My saving Grace maybe local southern Ontario snow and I can ride out of my Back40 and break trail through hydro Cora door for many miles of off trail riding and no one cares, then rip back home for dinner.

Let it SNOW

there's going to be quiet polite riots in Canada

I'm running out to buy all the Maple Syrup I can get my hands on right now...

You are so right Corner...

at the Tim Horton drive through there will be snowballs thrown at the car behind the paying car as they are buying them coffees.

It will be chaos!!!

I am start early... bartender another!

Closing a trail because of CoViD

did you read the article?  Canadians take health care rather seriously, because they are somewhat beholden to each other.

Canada 'attributed' Covid deaths = 18,462

400K+ dead American's = WINNING ?

"We are also seeing groups of snowmobilers congregating on trails, in parking lots and other locations not maintaining a two metre distance and exceeding the gathering limits.”

'Viruses' don't GAF how we vote, if we lean politically left or right, are rich or poor or if we own a gun.

That said, I wish we could ride here before the trails get closed... :(

Did you seriously just compare covid bs in Canada to the US?

The government there just doesn’t want everyone pulling on their healthcare system at once. It will cost them too much money.

The ones that are winning are the ones that keep their fucking freedoms.

How many people do you think they're saving from CoViD by shutting down snowmobile trails?  It's nanny state.  Look to the state to tell is all what to do and how to live?  Like I said, FUCK THAT SHIT.  corner 2 corner you want to stay off the trails so you don't die if CoViD, I support you in doing that, stay home.  I have a problem with anyone else telling you to stay home.  Sorry to trigger your libtardness but you have the right to be offended I suppose and I have the right to not GAF

fairly certain I compared Covid deaths in Canada to the US and made the analogy that Canadians take their health care more seriously than we do.

the vast majority of my Canadian friends think/feel this way based on our conversations the past 10 months, yours may vary.

I don't agree with shutting down the trails here.  I may agree with bars, restaraunts and gathering places.

I can't argue with the Canadian government shutting down their trails, because I'm not Canadian.

How do you feel about England & Scotland locking down?

18k (supposed) deaths for an entire country just makes it even worse to be shutting down travel.  That's nothing.  More people probably died from trees falling on them.  Oh no some people are standing closer than 6' from eachother in the middle of fucking nowhere, let's stop all socializing!  Oh yeah and kill all those businesses!  Yeah winning!!  Totally fucking "winning"!  WTF man please just stay home for your own good, the world is very scary and dangerous.

I do more dangerous shit every weekend than what CoViD will ever do.  Let's all just hide in our homes until we starve to death so we don't get the flu, if you're incredibly unhealthy you might even have a symptom!  Oh no!

So population density or any other real metric doesn’t mean anything when discussing death numbers? Just thoughts and feelings?

Most Canadians haven’t had the ability to think or do for themselves through all of this. Government does not want to go broke with healthcare costs.

I don’t know many but the few Canadians that I do know think their government reaction is a joke and they don’t agree with it. I can’t find that sort of metric in any type of cdc data chart, however.

What don't you fucking understand?  I'm against any state "locking down" anybody.

ok, let's say just 33% of those deaths are undeniably attributed to Covid - and our neighboring country is still less than Minnesota's 'reported' number.

this nation mourned and went to war in Afghanistan over 2,977 deaths on 9/11 - yet we never declared war or united on a virus that killed yet NY City has had 26,161 'reported' Covid deaths.

Closing snowmobile trails makes less sense than closing walking/biking paths, XC-ski/snowshoe trails yet WalMart, Target and Canadian Tire stores are considered 'essential'.  I get your perspective and respect it but at this time the Canadian government saw fit to make a decision you adamantly oppose.

of course it does, Montreal and Toronto aren't exactly hick-town's.  I can only extrapolate the provided data and make just comparisons.

most of my Canadian friends haven't changed much of their lifestyles, but still take precautions.  Government health care in Canada is 'the people', as in their wallet.  we don't think that way, because we don't subscribe to 'socialist values' like all those liberal Canucks.

these are just our opinions and perspectives, would be nice to have actual Canadians weigh in here on the subject.

This is AWESOME!!!

I thought you were pissed at the douche lady with mental health problems in Tim Horton’s.

This is way better... Hey Stang... you want to hook up and wave Freedom Sledder Flags off the back of our Sleds in Parry Sound tonight?

We would make headlines in tomorrow’s media.

What do you say?
