Im4snow
Now that the democrats have full control of Washington (Congress and the WH), they should have no trouble reversing the destructive Trump tax cuts of 2017. My question, what will be their excuse when they don't fully reverse Trump's tax cuts?
BadaBing444
No way they change the tax cuts they changed on the pass thru entities. To many politicians use these for all their shell companies.

Dems always are concerned with taking the taxpayers money rather than cutting taxes.
Angry ginger
i doubt much will be done on the taxes. they will just wait it out and let them expire. Dems have to wade carefully in the waters for the next 2 years, only takes 1 or 2 of their side who need reelection to keep idiocy from happening which hopefully will. TBH if we would cut spending I would argue on a federal level many who make good money are undertaxed, only in America can you make 300k and pay less than 20%

Till then I will not mind paying my accountant to save me every nickel . And push me to far I will dump real-estate and become a guy in a truck who only takes cash
Matt
Amazing how letting people keep more of what they earn is positioned as a giveaway, but you know the tax hikes are coming. So is the re-weaponization of the IRS.

Angry ginger
large corporation tax rates need to be competitive on a global basis. Returning to Reagan era would ensure a movement back to overseas that was reversed under trump at least a little bit
Gold Member BOHICA Posted January 7, 2021 Gold Member Share Posted January 7, 2021 Aren’t the individual trump taxes set to expire in 2025???? It will be a topic after midterms.... corporate is permanent... it would probably be to toxic to touch if you are wanting re-election. only thing I think will happen is those that pay no income tax may get some more peanuts thrown at them by the leadership
