Vintage sled tracks?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any good sites/places to look for NOS or otherwise center drive tracks? Got my dads gp433 running this weekend and the track is starting to show signs of weathering.

on a side note - 40mph on this thing feels like 100 on my 800... Idk how people rode these damn things.

sweet!  love the old bug eye, maybe Yamaha should have used a round eyeball on the Venom?

you know the track dimensions yet?  there used to be a local guy (Snow Shack) that had tons of parts for 60/70's sleds, but that was a while ago.  there was also a guy on C/L around here that used to have a semi trailer full of tracks but I haven't seen an ad posted yet for him this season.

check for info here http://vintagesnow.com/upload/1998_TRACKS.pdf

Check out this guy Dr Mario.  He's primarily Polaris and actually makes cleated tracks for 60's and 70's Polaris sleds.  I don't know if Polaris ever had a center drive but this guy may be able to help out.

I know a few guys deep in the vintage world, they talk in a different language.  They're on the prominent vintage sled forums, I think those forums are pretty active.

I may speak that language

You road them with a shaving kit full of tools and a old musterd bottle full of gas .

But that was only to work on all the non yammis in your crew
