What?  No way is the stance 46/47?  Maybe outside of ski to outside..  but not the stance which is center to center.  I think most of the blasts are the 40" stance and use the high country size arms to achieve that.

I'm sure it ran the number.

yeah, worded that poorly.  overall width is wider on the XR-T and they use the same spindles so probably wider a-arms - and a sway bar.

https://arcticcat.txtsv.com/snowmobile/blast-xr-touring#specs then click dimensions

Overall Chassis Width 44-45 in. 46-47 in.
Ski Stance 37.5-38.5 in. Adjustable 39.5-40.5 in. Adjustable

This one had 900 miles so even he rode more than me this winter lol.

I think I saw that f/s for 7300.  So $400 to use a new sled for a year "omg the blasts are so expensive"

I hear you will pick up 10mph sawing an 03 f7 engine in 1/2 and swapping it to a tree fiddy.

surprised they haven't put the 400 in a Firecat chassis yet

there's always next year!

Who makes a motor mount to drop a 600 efi into a Blast?

Arctic Cat does, and should.

by the time you were done converting one of these, you're into lightly used 6000 RXC $ with better 'everything'

a 600 Venom would be... different.

maybe some day when these reach their actual value ($3000), and a 6000 CTEC engines are a dime a dozen.

Yes, RXC $ without the RXC quality.  Maybe makes sense for the off trail guys, or the fur trappers.

I would not anticipate any trappers big boring their blast.

Maybe.  They seem to have money to blow judging by every angler with a new f150 has a big new wheelhouse.

I saw a Suburban with tracks last weekend.  I wonder if someone uses that for pulling the big double and triple axel houses out.

The blast is a procross.  With a one piece tunnel.  Not sure why everyone always talks about motor swapping them or cat putting a 600 in one.  These sleds already exist.

Ah, so the new b-last is a 12 year old chassis with half a motor.  Sounds like a GREAT idea Cat!  Woot!!

yo @mnstang- dude put a 12 ZR front end on his wife's blast because it was 'too tippy', and put QS3's from a Riot in the skid.

maybe Cat will too some day :dunno:

Qs3 on a blast would up the price so you guys can cry more about the price.  I'd say most blast users will not need qs3 shocks.

No, but simple IFPs with good valving seems reasonable.
