first ride with it today on 7-8" of fresh snow that was ridden on but not groomed.

in loose snow, I can say with certainty the Cobra is far superior but this track is quantum leaps over the 1" 14"W Hacksaw that was on there.  on a few spots where the snow/ice was firm it hooked pretty darn well.

so, more time and mileage will be the judge...

Yeah,I have a sled with the rip 2 that had the 1.3 cobra right before that.  Lots of time on both.  It gives up to the cobra in snow but is fine on groomed trail.

post up some pictures of the plugs..
Also what plugs are you running?

I know my sled isn't the same but I go though plugs if they are not iridium, BR9EIX.
I also run it fat most of the time, probably doesn't help

What exactly do you mean by "frying".  Wet and lean don't really go together.

it's a contradicting statement, wrapped in an enigma.  it's not even plausible to me being "wet and fried".

OP on this issue, either post some pictures... please explain wth you are talking about with more depth or maybe take it to someone more qualified than yourself for a proper diagnosis.  where are you located?

most in this thread and page are experienced with carbs and this chassis, so start skipping the vague bullshit, make sure the timing is correct, you have proper spark and fueling to each cylinder, maybe do a simple compression check and help us help you.
